Sean teaches in group settings as well as individually at his Jersey City studio. He can help his students improve their musical expression in a wide variety of styles on both acoustic and electric guitar, but Sean particularly enjoys teaching songwriting, music theory, and guitar self-accompaniment/arranging for singer-songwriters. He is a fixture on the local bluegrass and acoustic music scene and can help students with both flatpick and fingerstyle technique, integrating standard bluegrass repertoire, jam etiquette, and more for the advancing guitarist.
